This response was a clue that the drugs were outside the home. Agent Salcido testified that this answer was a “quasi-admission” that the drugs had been in a different location. At one point, the agents demanded that Ramos tie his shoe. At this point, an unknown uniformed officer intervened and said that the shoe would come off in jail.
